You ever thought about what it would be like to never lose? Like to always win and know that you’re absolutely the best out of everyone? The Dolphins did it in the 80’s the Bulls were close in the 90’s as were my Patriots before they happened across a certain NY team that everyone in this city hates. I personally used to dream of it all the time when I was running track in college, but as I’ve grown I’ve realized that it’s something that you NEVER should want.
Let’s think about this for a second. You see, bronut, if you’re undefeated, you most likely aren’t living up to your potential.
Sure there are gonna be times when you’re just so great that nobody can even touch you, but this isn’t sports. There aren’t 16-30 teams battling for supremacy, there are 7.8 Billion people in the world. The chances of you getting the best of everyone every time is virtually impossible.
So I’d like you to consider that the quickest way to success is to drop the ego, take your “L’s” (on occasion), and move on.
In reality, nobody cares about your loses except for you. And to be honest, you probably shouldn’t care about those much yourself anyway.
At the end of the day, regret stings a whole lot more than defeat. So either you start taking action now, or you keep wondering “what if?” forever.
