Legends. Born Or Made?

Legendary.

Is it possible that everyone could be legendary?

Today, I’d like us to talk about legends and how it’s possible that you also could become a legend in your own right.

I’ve come up with 10 principles for success that I’ve developed by keeping good company over the years and I’d like to share them with you over the next couple of weeks to start the new year strong.

10 principles are a lot, so I’m going to answer the aforementioned question about being legendary in a few simple words.

Don’t try to be better, be different.

The greats like Picasso, Elon Musk, Oprah, or Kim (yes, that Kim) Kardashian became all time when they decided that they weren’t just going to paint landscapes or become news anchors.

They became legendary when they decided that they would create their own brand. What they would create would lead to a brand new style of painting…ahem…cubism.

Or reality television…ah hell, Television as we know it, depending on if you’re asking either Oprah or Kim.

It boggles the mind to think that we could possibly step foot on another planet simply because someone dared to be different.

So listen, Bro Jackson, stop trying to be the best at everything and start crushing it doing what YOU do best.

Surrealism

Ha!! Or…maybe…start by first being true to yourself. Afterall, there’s only one of you, you don’t get much more different than that.

P.S. Not everyone wants to be a legend, but I’ll have you consider this. What if you died tomorrow? What would your friends say about you? What would your family say? When you’re thinking long term, you have to consider a more practical approach. Would you rather spend your time trying to be better than everyone or being the best you? Talk soon…
