The Key To Writing Viral Content

key to good content

Ha! There is no real answer. šŸ˜› No, but for realizies. The title of this here post should be the key to writing content that people value. I wish there was a single secret or formula that you could put into a machine. I’d be feeding that machine all day! But unfortunately that’s not the case.

You see, no matter what the reason for you doing something, you have to create something that really touches people. It could be a creative piece. Or it could be something that makes people think. Whatever you write, or however you do it, Ā has to be something that speaks to our soul.

So I can’t say that I’m expert on writing viral content, I can say that no matter the topic, I give my honest observation and opinion. Even though I don’t have a million views, I’m not sure what I’d do with them anyway, because I, like you am a fan of love. To me love comes from a small group of about 80 to 150 people. I’ve talked about this in a few of my previous posts, how it’s not about how many people love you, but how deeply they do so.

People like us are ready for the truth and I believe that people will begin to honor real value over sheer numbers of followers or numbers of tweets. The new social currency will not be quantity, it will be quality. In this day and age where people pay for time, love is the most invaluable asset.

You want to create viral content? Go ahead. But in the future those that practice developing relationships while simultaneously creating new ones will always win over the number chasers.

How To Live The Life You Deserve

life, FAMILY, FITNESS, FUN, FULFILMENT

Live it up they say. (They meaning theĀ epicureans) That was the life they chose to live. It was a life focused mainly on material possessions and the old Drake saying “Y.O.L.O.” It was kind of amazing that they lived as long as they did and so their beliefs have stood throughout time as a shining of example of “not giving a fuck.”

But wait, that can’t be it, because around the same time there were a few characters around that called themselves the stoics. They wouldn’t do anything that pleased them. It was almost as if abstaining was a pleasure to them. They were like buddhist and hindu monks that never partake in any type of pleasure.

Needless to say, these two opposing beliefs existed and coexisted leading to create some of our modern day tenets of religion.

Ok enough with the history lesson, I just needed to provide a little backdrop for thisĀ knowledge I’m bout to drop on you about how I discovered the secret to time travel. Time travel?! Really? Ok I just had to get your attention. Not, time travel, but something close…

The Good Life

You see as my boy Tai Lopez says all the time. “Everyone’s looking for the good life, but not everyone gets the good life.” Ā It’s pretty clear cut, we all know someone who clearly isn’t living up to their potential, but I want to talk about what stops most people from getting there.

The biggest problem that most people face today is that they are living in the future. In today’s fast pace world where we rarely have to wait for anything, we’ve become brainwashed to believe that if we don’t see, hear, or feel anything that it’s not worth our time and people for the most part have been dabblers in finding what makes them happy.

I don’t have time to go into detail, but I do want you pay attention to this next phrase and see if you recognize it.

I’ll be happy when ________

That was my mantra while I hustled and grinded and withheld everything from myself until I went just about crazy sedating with booze, porno, and other things I wouldn’t want mamma bear to know about. Then when I’d get those things, I’d feel so empty and the only way I’d get out of my funk was by planning the next “thing” I wanted to get.

This applies to a lot of people and I’m sure you can even identify a point in your life where you’ve all but given up and you just kept hoping that the future would get better. Ā Well it doesn’t unless you do this ONE thing….

Protect your confidence at all costs!

How do you do that? Well I’ve run out of time here, but I would love to chat with you about about it. Email me here or leave a comment in the space provided below.

P.S. The reason why I chose that moniker for today is because living the good life is a fine balance of building confidence and building discipline. It’s not easy, but there are a few simple tricks and tips that I’ve learned that have taken me (and will take you if you ask) to the next level in terms of everyday performance and value I feel I’m giving to the world. Ā You wanna pick up some of what I’m laying down? Just shoot me an email. That simple. Talk soon…

Fear = Dishonor

Fear is a mountain

There are so many things out there that we don’t understand. I for one, could not figure out how to use Google analytics for the life of me. So yesterday I sat down, determined to figure out what in the world I could do to understand all those numbers and abbreviations. And what it added up to was fear…

Let me fill you in on what I mean. After about an hour, I came across something amazing. I found that I had quite a few people going to my site, but I was quickly disappointed when I went followed the links to where they went.

You see, I came across four (4) blogs around the world that were pretty much using this blog for fodder. They would read what I wrote, put my words down and then throw their own spin on it.

The thing is, I’m not upset that when people copy. In fact, I’m honored, the problem is that these people didn’t even approach me. And it’s not really even that, the real issue is why…

You see the reason WHY I write these DAILY blogs is to reach out to people. I want us to discuss issues that affect us all. I am reaching out because I would like to start a conversation about these subjects. It’s not for you to read and then go on about your way.

So lurkers. plagiarists, and all you first time visitors, listen up! I’m not mad, (it takes a lot more than that) but I want you to consider something. The only reason why we dishonor ourselves or anyone else is not because we are bad people set on sucking whatever value possible from whomever. No it’s not because we are bad, but it’s because of fear.

Fear of putting your OWN voice out there.

Of what people will think

That you just might not be good enough

But honestly, broham the longer you project something you’re not the longer you will live in fear. So if you truly want to make a difference in the world with your words and your thoughts, make sure that they are genuinely your own.
