Only The Best Believe

Believe in spite of fear

“I’m good enough, I’m smart enough, and gosh darn it, (love that Oxford comma) people like me.” Those are the immortal words of SNL’s Stuart Smalley. He was pretty much a goofball, but he was onto something about what we believe.

You see, Bro Montana, the key to the game of life and being happy is to believe it’s possible. So many people go around thinking that their lives are crumbling around them, but in all actuality it’s mindset. They believe that when the going gets tough, they get going…out the door, down the street to have a drink at the local bar.

So the belief is the key, but how do you make it? Can’t you just magically start believing in yourself? Maybe you can go to your local hardware store and get it made? (Ok bad joke sorry about that, my bad)

Believe in a way

Welp, as we learned from Stuart Smalley in late 90’s as well as many successful people after him, it comes with practice. When you practice affirmations, then believe, you will find that you’ll have the confidence to take on new challenges. You’ll force yourself to think outside the box and open yourself up to forming creative solutions.

Believe and (just about) everything is possible.

Jerry “can even fly” Washington

P.S. Yup fly! I believed and I did it. I just thought real hard, reached behind me and poof.  Yup! I pulled out my wallet and bought an airline ticket (told you I could fly). Ha! Seriously though, when you believe in your own abilities it opens up a world of possibilities. If you want to talk more about it, leave a comment below, or contact me here. Because you’re good enough, smart enough, and gosh darn it people like you. Talk soon…

Is It Too Soon To Look Forward To 2020?

Remember this?:

Are you kidding me?

Well you know what? That actually shouldn’t surprise us at all. You see, Kanye and Taylor are really not that different.

How you ask?

Well simply put my friend, they both produce and big time.

See they both came from pretty meager beginnings, but put a lot of time into their craft.

We all know that Taylor writes her own songs and pretty much all of them have been a hit. I can only imagine what she has that didn’t work so well.

I bet it’s in a vault somewhere in a small box. On it, inscribed in crayon, it reads “Taylor’s bad music.”

Kanye actually wrote a song about his own meteoric rise to the top, in a song called “Spaceship

One line that I really thought to be great was his:

Lock yourself in a room doing 5 beats a day for 3 summersI deserve to do these numbers

Personally, I don’t think that’s a ton, like I think I could make at least 10 beats before you finish reading this email.

That’s besides the point though.

I’ve always had a little crush on TayTay since that fateful moment at the music awards and it makes me happy that their beef is now done because I like Kanye too.

These two both work hard to produce original music that the world loves.

It reminds me a little myself.

I’m not a musical artist, but I work hard everyday on my craft. I’m constantly reading articles on fitness and books on wellness so I can learn more to help you.
I’ve been doing this for almost a decade now and I’m never afraid to commit to something that would improve my service, like starting the 28 Day Fat Furnace.

Dude seriously, I don’t think there are many out there that work harder than me at making you more awesome.

I mean, how many of your chicken and broccoli, Tupperware toting trainers even have a monthly newsletter like I do?

Or even come close to updating their blog as regularly as I do?

Yeah, that’s my program and I’ve helped literally, hundreds of people have fun while getting fit since we started in that playground in Narberth almost a decade ago.

It all comes down to this. If you work hard and keep believing in yourself, you never know who will want to support you and only add to your success.
