This One Is NOT For You If…

I was talking to a friend the other day who is like the king of conspiracy theories. Oh man is he entertaining. Sometimes I just want to sit back with a nice merlot and listen to all his fun stories about past presidents, aliens, bigfoot, and the twin towers. I mean who needs a t.v? I’ve got a friend that can talk for hours. And he’ll entertain you with stories with presidents that conspired with other countries to drive up food prices. Or organized attacks on our country to give us reasonable cause to enter a war so that rich elite could control America.

I’m gonna put this bluntly. Yes, the Illuminati does exist, but not in the way you would think of some rich elite. The Illuminati are not these evil people hell bent on destroying the earth, seriously how could you cover up a conspiracy like that for so long?? I mean with the internet and all?

talented dog

Look, I get it briznit, it’s easy to blame others when things don’t turn out the way you imagined. It’s the government, it’s secret societies, it’s Bob down the street that keeps trying to show you up with the ridiculous things he keeps teaching his dog.

I get it, but man…if there’s one thing that I’ve learned over the years it’s that you are in complete control of your own reality. Everything that you feel is a decision. A choice.

I would like you to think about the thing that you feel is holding you back from success. Be it time, money, lack of skills/knowledge, whatever. Now consider this, unless you’re a freak like Michael Jordan or Bo Jackson, or even Lebron James you were born more with pretty much the same talent as everyone else. You have the same amount of resources everyone else does, in fact, if you’re reading this you’re at an advantage. There’s probably at least a third of the world that doesn’t have internet.

Look, this isn’t for you if you believe there’s a secret elite society that is controlling us all. It just isn’t possible. The issue with that type of thinking is that it trains your mind to not take responsibility. It’s like racing with your legs bound up and your arms tied behind your back. When you inevitably lose, all you will complain about is how hard it was for you to run the race.  You would complain about how you were limited, but the fact is that you really weren’t. You’d have had a chance if you didn’t show up to the race already at a clear disadvantage.

So I understand that some people think that there is some secret society out to get you. But what I would really have you consider is that they ultra elite are just like you (with more money of course). They do business deals, have friends they’ve known for years and take vacations. They might be able to do more stuff with their money, but that doesn’t mean they don’t want you to have anything.

In short, it’s really not a secret society that’s holding you back, it’s your limiting beliefs about your own potential for success.

P.S. I’m not trying to rag on anyone here. The hope here is that you wake up and see that we all have unlimited potential. Ok maybe not all of us, but you…You broham. You have unlimited potential, but the question is will you ever stop blaming others long enough to utilize it. Talk soon…

How To Live The Life You Deserve

life, FAMILY, FITNESS, FUN, FULFILMENT

Live it up they say. (They meaning the epicureans) That was the life they chose to live. It was a life focused mainly on material possessions and the old Drake saying “Y.O.L.O.” It was kind of amazing that they lived as long as they did and so their beliefs have stood throughout time as a shining of example of “not giving a fuck.”

But wait, that can’t be it, because around the same time there were a few characters around that called themselves the stoics. They wouldn’t do anything that pleased them. It was almost as if abstaining was a pleasure to them. They were like buddhist and hindu monks that never partake in any type of pleasure.

Needless to say, these two opposing beliefs existed and coexisted leading to create some of our modern day tenets of religion.

Ok enough with the history lesson, I just needed to provide a little backdrop for this knowledge I’m bout to drop on you about how I discovered the secret to time travel. Time travel?! Really? Ok I just had to get your attention. Not, time travel, but something close…

The Good Life

You see as my boy Tai Lopez says all the time. “Everyone’s looking for the good life, but not everyone gets the good life.”  It’s pretty clear cut, we all know someone who clearly isn’t living up to their potential, but I want to talk about what stops most people from getting there.

The biggest problem that most people face today is that they are living in the future. In today’s fast pace world where we rarely have to wait for anything, we’ve become brainwashed to believe that if we don’t see, hear, or feel anything that it’s not worth our time and people for the most part have been dabblers in finding what makes them happy.

I don’t have time to go into detail, but I do want you pay attention to this next phrase and see if you recognize it.

I’ll be happy when ________

That was my mantra while I hustled and grinded and withheld everything from myself until I went just about crazy sedating with booze, porno, and other things I wouldn’t want mamma bear to know about. Then when I’d get those things, I’d feel so empty and the only way I’d get out of my funk was by planning the next “thing” I wanted to get.

This applies to a lot of people and I’m sure you can even identify a point in your life where you’ve all but given up and you just kept hoping that the future would get better.  Well it doesn’t unless you do this ONE thing….

Protect your confidence at all costs!

How do you do that? Well I’ve run out of time here, but I would love to chat with you about about it. Email me here or leave a comment in the space provided below.

P.S. The reason why I chose that moniker for today is because living the good life is a fine balance of building confidence and building discipline. It’s not easy, but there are a few simple tricks and tips that I’ve learned that have taken me (and will take you if you ask) to the next level in terms of everyday performance and value I feel I’m giving to the world.  You wanna pick up some of what I’m laying down? Just shoot me an email. That simple. Talk soon…

Fear = Dishonor

Fear is a mountain

There are so many things out there that we don’t understand. I for one, could not figure out how to use Google analytics for the life of me. So yesterday I sat down, determined to figure out what in the world I could do to understand all those numbers and abbreviations. And what it added up to was fear…

Let me fill you in on what I mean. After about an hour, I came across something amazing. I found that I had quite a few people going to my site, but I was quickly disappointed when I went followed the links to where they went.

You see, I came across four (4) blogs around the world that were pretty much using this blog for fodder. They would read what I wrote, put my words down and then throw their own spin on it.

The thing is, I’m not upset that when people copy. In fact, I’m honored, the problem is that these people didn’t even approach me. And it’s not really even that, the real issue is why…

You see the reason WHY I write these DAILY blogs is to reach out to people. I want us to discuss issues that affect us all. I am reaching out because I would like to start a conversation about these subjects. It’s not for you to read and then go on about your way.

So lurkers. plagiarists, and all you first time visitors, listen up! I’m not mad, (it takes a lot more than that) but I want you to consider something. The only reason why we dishonor ourselves or anyone else is not because we are bad people set on sucking whatever value possible from whomever. No it’s not because we are bad, but it’s because of fear.

Fear of putting your OWN voice out there.

Of what people will think

That you just might not be good enough

But honestly, broham the longer you project something you’re not the longer you will live in fear. So if you truly want to make a difference in the world with your words and your thoughts, make sure that they are genuinely your own.
