Find Your Freedom Now!

Something interesting came up today in the inner circle about the dangers of not leading a fulfilled life and losing your freedom. Most people think it’s a joke that you can unknowingly cause yourself serious health issues. It’s kinda scary, to be honest. People literally die from this chemically dependency on something called dopamine. Don’t believe me? Check the stats. Americans, for the first time in history have a life expectancy that’s less than that of the generation before us.

WT(Freedom) is Dopamine?!

Sorry, I know you don’t have time for a science lesson today, being that you’ve got burgers on the grill and all. So I’ll give you the short freedom fry version. Dopamine is good in a lot of cases. It triggers our fight or flight response and it helps us to perform at higher levels than average. But the human body is not meant to live off of dopamine alone. In fact, broham, when you do overload your system with too much dopamine, you crash…big time. People with high levels of dopamine, need to feed that dopamine. If they don’t, they crash into depression.  Imagine a kid on a sugar rush. Then, remember what he’s like an hour after he ate those 3 candy bars…yah, that’s what it’s like every single day if you’ve spiked your dopamine too many times.

You may have had that feeling that you just aren’t comfortable where you are or even angry with your current situation. I’ve got news for you brozilla, that’s not normal. Not even close and worst part is, the more you try to trick yourself into thinking that where you are is OK, the more you are going to be fighting against what every fiber of your being wants…nay NEEDS. And I don’t even want to get into the emotional consequences…

How to Gain What You’ve Lost

So listen up. I care about you. You are reading this because you really want to see a positive change in your life. I respect that and I believe in you because of that. I don’t have all the answers, but I would have you consider that there really is a solution. You don’t have to let the poison drip of the mediocre life kill your dreams. Our forefathers found the solution 250 years ago. It’s called freedom. Now let’s make them proud by enjoying it today!

P.S. It’s especially important to understand that you have control over your own life. No one person or institution takes any more power than you give them. I’ll be talking about that a little more in my inner circle. I’d like you to join now if you’re ready to take control, just click the link here and be taken to the sign up page. Talk soon…

Dude, Where IS It?

Wow what a weekend. I was up in RI this Friday through Sunday and man what an experience.

I was at Autumn Fest. A Rhode Island Festival of rides, games and music.

Hanging out with the family was fun, but unfortunately time marches on and I had to say my goodbyes and hit the Rhode (see what I did there?)

Anywho, before I made my journey back to Philly I made a quick pit stop in southern RI to hang with one of my fellow ninjas buddies

We had good times reminiscing about the show. We talked training strategy and cleaned up my technique on a few movements. It was a productive visit.

When I left, I noticed my wallet was gone.

Not gonna lie bruh.

I panicked

I thought I would have to move to Rhode Island with Frankie and the two bags I had packed.

So I took a deep breath and did what I do best.

Got creative…

Well not really. I just called my dad and calmly explained what happened.

I have to admit, I was suspicious of everyone that even looked at me funny on the way back. I felt that everyone probably knew the whereabouts of my wallet, but then I had to think.

Maybe this is something that might have happened for a reason.

You know when you just have that feeling? I bet you’ve gotten it at least once.

Yah you know what I’m talking about.

I like to call those spiritual psychic phenomenons

Actually I just made that up, but sounds legit right?

It’s where something seemingly bad happens, but something good comes from it.

Like for me in this instance, I lost my wallet, but what I gained was priceless.

I drove back to see my father to borrow a few bucks and head back out, but when I walked in the door the smell of soul food had me thinking otherwise.

I ended up eating some good ole fashioned pulled pork with Mac and cheese, greens, hamhocks, and cornbread.

I watched the Patriots put a whopping down on the Cowboys. (America’s team, my ass)

I tell you sometimes it pays to have a positive outlook no matter the situation.

The only way you can develop the fortitude, however is though practice.

Short of constantly creating mini catastrophic scenarios for you to conquer, exercise is probably the best way to accomplish that.

An even better way? With a group of dedicated and supportive people (and me, of course) encouraging you so that you want to do better.

As I said before, time marches on and we will all, at some time face obstacles.

Whether its a few very big ones, or over a million small ones, it doesn’t matter.

You learn in the General Fitness Company that it really isn’t about the size or the number of obstacles

You learn how to develop the faith to get over them

Then sometimes you just get lucky like I did.

Feeling Lucky?:

P.S. Everything does happen for a reason. We don’t have hard hits in football like we used to because of the hit in the link below. While, it may have seemed bad for the guy (Massaquoi) getting hit, it actually was a blessing. He now apparently is a successful businessman. Check out the hit that, ehem, launched his career away from head detaching hits:

That’s The Special O

I was flipping through channels at my parents house before I made my way back to Philly.

It’s fun for awhile

I mean the sheer volume of selection is almost overwhelming enough to make you want to try and watch something from every channel for a few minutes.

Which is exactly what I decided to do.

I ended up absolutely mesmerized by the strangest of things.

The station was called OSN which I thought might be a local sports network (turned out to stand for ocean state network)

Anywho, I saw something about the Olympics, but it actually turned out to be about the Special Olympics

No big deal, I’ll watch and see how the javelin goes :-p

So the unfortunate thing is that it cuts to this local community access channel interview.

The thing is that this interview was conducted my people with obvious disabilities, but sans the fancy equipment from the big productions.

It was actually something that really spoke to me.

It’s that you know, you may think you have it tough, but there is someone achieving their dream out there in spite of the obstacles they face.

The thing is that there isn’t just one someone, some dude that looks like you and has the same dreams and aspirations

There could be hundreds of thousands of someone’s that want to do exactly what you want to do.

The key is not to compete with them though.

Nope, that’s never gonna bring you happiness.

You have to be you and that is what is going to set you apart.

You see broseph, these people with disabilities are blessed in a way that we aren’t.

They don’t have the ability to outwardly hide what make them different.

The thing is they have nothing to hide so all they have is happiness.

What a gift right?

If only we could all do that.

Well, you can in my program.

In it, I teach you how to make fast decisions

Be happy with your decisions even if they didn’t have the desired effect

As well as many other life affirming activities.

You CAN enjoy life the same way the happiest people in the world can

P.s. Tune in tomorrow for a funny story about something that happened on the way back home from RI. You won’t want to miss it.
